Duties and Responsibilities

-Design and implement all domestic and international traffic procedures
-Balance costs, customer needs, and efficiency demands to select appropriate freight carriers
-Negotiate and closely monitor freight carrier rates and performance to ensure superior shipping service.
-Supervise all bill payment processes and implement payment system for auditing, routing, charge backs, and vendor services
-Design and evaluate staff performance standards, highlighting and spearheading opportunities for increased training, expertise, efficiency, and development

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s Degree
-Four to Ten years of import/export/logistic experience
-Knowledge of all trafficking laws and regulations, Asian container logistics, carrier contracts, and motor carrier cargo insurance procedures and policies
-Familiarity with Customs Brokers
